T-12  Morning

I remember being younger and more durable. I have been a heavy substance abuser since childhood, so my memories of being clean for any amount of time are few and vague. But I do remember being fairly athletic. I used to roller blade, canoe, mountain bike, river raft, run. I don’t do any of it now. Seems overwhelming to even think about it. I would like to get those things back before I am too old to do them. What I really want is the desire to do them.

T-12 am hit home! Thank you for the clear honesty, Kevin. I most resonated with the What do you want in contrast to what values have been eroded over time, like a well-warn rock! I use to live by the Viktor Frankl Why/How quote. I am on my way to embracing that again. I still remember the person I was before alcohol. That person will be a better one because of this journey. Gratitude, Jen

These videos are great and the journal entries are helping me so much. They are invaluable in finding out a lot about yourself.

Hi Kevin, very useful video thanks.
Being an introvert my mind always tells me when socializing I must drink so i can fit in, being more entertaining, more liked etc.
the thought of going out and not drinking terrifying, but listening to you has given me a great starting point to overcome this.

Really useful video – I spent some really good time reflecting on my “whys” – I’m definitely going to write them up in the coming days and maybe put them on the wall at home somewhere where I can see them everyday – certainly at the beginning of this journey anyway.

A good video. It has made me rethink my life style. I aneed to consentrate on my health. And get back to my true values. Only the drink… No my thinking has stopped me.
